Business Banking Transition Checklist
Key dates and tips for a smooth transition.
This list of items is designed to help ensure you are prepared for the transition. Review the following information and actions you may need to take:
All Business Clients
Review and complete the following items prior to March 20, 2026:
Review your new account details
Account numbers remain the same, unless you are notified; however, your account details and benefits are changing. Please review the Business Account Transition Guide to learn more.
Continue to use your HomeStreet ATM, Debit & Credit card(s)
Your HomeStreet ATM, debit and credit cards with a Visa® logo will continue to work after March 20 with no interruptions, until further notice.
- ATM-only cards (those without a Visa logo) will be replaced the first week of March
- Any recurring payments you make linked to your current HomeStreet debit card will continue uninterrupted
Continue to use your HomeStreet checks
Checks will continue to process as usual. Continue using your current HomeStreet checks until they run out.
Note the new routing number, effective March 23, 2026
The routing number will change to 121102036 effective March 23, 2026. You will need to use this new routing number for wires, ACH transactions, and Check Positive Pay issue files beginning March 23.

All Business Online Banking Clients
Review and complete the following items prior to March 20, 2026:
Note your current HomeStreet Business Online Banking company ID, user ID and password
You will need your existing HomeStreet business online banking company ID and user ID to log into the new Mechanics bank systems for the first time beginning March 23, 2026. Online Banking Plus users will also need their current HomeStreet password. Commercial Center users will be sent an email with temporary password instructions the week of March 16.
If you do not know one or more of these, contact your banker today or call us at 800.719.8080 so you have them, otherwise you will not be able to log in for the first time without assistance.

Download or save account statements and tax documents
Please download or print copies of your account statements and any tax documents associated with your homestreet.com online banking accounts BEFORE Friday, March 20. Access to your historical statements and tax documents may be limited on Online Banking Plus and Commercial Center when you login on March 23, 2026.
Historical account data
12 months of historical account data will transfer over to both Online Banking Plus and Commercial Center; however, there may be a slight delay of one to two business days before Commercial Center will display account data.
Re-establish recurring or scheduled transfers
Any future dated, recurring or scheduled transfers will transfer over to Online Banking Plus. Once you have access to your Mechanics Bank account, we recommend you check to ensure all the information has been transferred accurately.
Recurring or scheduled payments will not transition to Commercial Center. You will need to set them up beginning March 23, 2026. Please make note of these prior to March 20, 2026 to ease re-entry. Transfers associated with bill pay will migrate over.
Re-establish recurring or scheduled payments
Any future dated, recurring or scheduled payments transfers will transfer over. All your payee information will also transfer over. Once you have access to your Mechanics Bank account, we recommend you check to ensure all the information has been transferred accurately.
Watch Positive Pay Exceptions on Friday, March 20, 2026
It’s important for you to be aware that on Friday, March 20, Positive Pay customers should review their exceptions via the HomeStreet Business Online Banking system and notify the bank BEFORE 5:00pm (PT) by contacting CDS or calling your local banker if there are any exceptions or questions about the items that have been presented. If you don’t contact us, we will follow the default rules established for your account over transition weekend.
Positive Pay services will be available through Commercial Center beginning Monday, March 23, 2026.
Release ACH batches with an effective date of March 23, 2026 or prior by 4:00pm (PT) on March 20, 2026
ACH orginations using the HomeStreet system will end on Thursday, March 19, 2026 and you will be unable to submit files with effective dates past March 20. Use Mechanic Bank's Commercial Center to originate ACH items starting on March 23, 2026.
ACH history will not transfer over to either system. Please download any history you wish to retain by March 20, 2026.
Backup your Quicken or QuickBooks data and download any history
Prior to March 19, 2026: Download any Quicken or other third-party financial software, including Direct Connect or Web Connect history you wish to retain.
Update the routing number for wire services and download wire history
The former HomeStreet routing number will continue to work. Please be sure to notify the senders of Mechanic's Bank routing and transit number, which is 121102036. Login to Commercial Center for ACH items with an effective date of March 23, 2026 or later. Online wire services will only be available through Commercial Center. Users of Online Banking Plus may conduct wire services in your local branch.
History will not transition to Commercial Center nor Online Banking Plus. Please download any history you wish to retain by March 20, 2026.
Please begin updating the Swift code from HOMSUS6S over to MEBKUS66.
