Important dates and service interruptions in March

Before Friday, March 20, 2026:

  • Update your contact information.
    • A valid phone number and email address is required to login to your new Mechanics Bank Business Online Banking Plus system on Monday, March 23. This is not true for Commercial Center users; however, it's always a good idea to ensure your contact information is up to date during a systems transition.
    • To update your contact info, log in to your existing Business Online Banking account at www.homestreet.com and update your contact info by clicking on "Administration," "Self Administration," "Personal Preferences." Please click the edit icon in the bottom right corner of the contact information you want to edit. To add an additional email address or phone number, please click "Add" in the bottom left, OR
    • Call us at 800.719.8080 Monday-Friday 8:00am - 6:00pm (PT) OR
    • Stop by your local branch.
  • Make note of your Company ID.
    • Your Company ID will be required to login to Business Online Banking Plus and Commercial Center on Monday, March 23.
  • We recommend downloading or backing up your most recent history of Quicken and QuickBooks and any other third-party financial software as close as possible to 4:00pm (PT) Friday, March 20 to help ensure your activity is up to date prior to the start of the transition. After you're done so, deactivate and disconnect your online banking connection for accounts connected to HomeStreet. Learn more here
  • Download account statements and tax documents.
    • Access to your historical statements and tax documents may be limited when you login on March 23, 2026.
  • Download transfer history, future dated and/or recurring payments, if needed.
    • Online Banking Plus: Any future dated, recurring or scheduled transfers will transfer over to Online Banking Plus. Once you have access to your Mechanics Bank account, we recommend you check to ensure all the information has been transferred accurately.
    • Commercial Center: Any future transfers that are originated in your Bill Pay system will convert over to Commercial Center. Other recurring internal transfers and recurring bill payments will not. We recommend you check to ensure all the information has been transferred accurately, and that any transfers/payments are scheduled or rescheduled as needed.
  • Download ACH, wire, and remote deposit capture history. This history will not be available via Online Banking Plus nor Commercial Center.
  • For incoming wire transfers dated after Friday, March 20, please notify senders to use Mechanics Bank’s routing and transit number: 121102036.

Thursday, March 19, 2026

  • 3:00pm (PT): Business Online Bill Pay services end.
  • 3:00pm (PT): Business Mobile Bill Pay services end.
  • 5:00pm (PT): Business ACH Origination services end.

Friday, March 20, 2026

  • 3:00pm (PT): Wire transfer services end.
  • 5:00pm (PT): Internal transfer services end.
  • 5:00pm (PT): Access to www.homestreet.com Business Online Banking ends.
  • 5:00pm (PT): Access to HomeStreet Business Mobile Banking ends.
  • 5:00pm (PT): Access to HomeStreet Automated 24-Hour Banking phone line ends.
  • HomeStreet ATM, Debit and Credit Cards with the Visa® logo will continue to function without interruption until further notice. Some clients will receive a new Mechanics Bank ATM or Debit card and will be notified in advance.
  • Final account statements will be issued for all accounts on the former HomeStreet system at the end of the business day.
  • For incoming wire transfers dated after Friday, March 20, 2026, please notify the senders of Mechanics Bank’s routing and transit number, which is 121102036.

Positive Pay Customers

  • Before Friday March 20 up until 5:00pm (PT): Review the transaction presentments on your account. If there are items you would like paid or returned in the Positive Pay system this Saturday, March 21, notify the bank by contacting Commercial Depository Services (CDS) or call your local banker. If no decision is made, we will follow the default rule established for your account over transition weekend.

  • HomeStreet Business Mobile Banking (and related services) are not available.
  • HomeStreet Automated 24-Hour Banking phone line is not available.

    • The former HomeStreet routing number will continue to work, however, on or after March 23, please be sure to notify the senders of the specific Mechanic's Bank routing and transit number, which is 121102036.
    • Please begin updating the SWIFT code from HOMSUS6S over to MEBKUS66.
    • 24/7 Automated Telebanking is available at 800.797.6324.
    • The current HomeStreet routing number will continue to work. Please update any transactional material to the Mechanics Bank routing number (121102036) at your first opportunity.
    • Customer Care team is available to help at 800.719.8080 Monday-Friday 8:00am - 6:00pm, Saturday 9:00am - 5:00pm (PT).
