Affinity Benefits

The Mechanics Bank Affinity Program provides employers with a simple way to offer valuable financial benefits to their workforce. Eligible employees may receive everything from closing cost savings on home purchases or refinances to discounted rates on select personal loans to Workplace Checking.

These benefits help support employee financial wellness while enhancing your organization's overall benefits package. Mechanics Bank's experienced team is dedicated to helping employees find the right lending and banking solutions to meet their personal financial goals.

Mortgage Savings*

Your Affinity Program mortgage benefits offer savings on closing costs. Here is an example:

Purchase Price $750,000
Lender credit $3,750 (0.5% of loan amount)
Total Savings $3,750
*Eligible Participants of Associations are required to self-identify by providing the name of the Association or qualifying Business they are affiliated with.

Rate reductions on select consumer loans

Receive a 0.25% interest rate discount on a new Mechanics Bank personal loan or line with an additional 0.25% interest rate discount with automatic-debit from a Mechanics Bank personal checking or savings account. Mortgage loans excluded.

To receive your APR discount, you must mention you are part of our Affinity Program when you apply for your loan. Applicable only for Personal Reserve Accounts and Lift Loans.

Workplace Checking

  • No monthly service charge or daily minimum balance1
  • ATM surcharge fee rebates up to $12 per statement cycle2
1 The fee to receive a paper statement is $2 per statement cycle. This fee can be waived by enrolling exclusively in electronic statements.
2 Mechanics Bank will rebate fees charged by other institutions for the use of their ATMs, up to $12 per statement cycle.
