Mechanics Bank Expands Wealth Management Team

Silicon Valley private banking veterans Bill Davis and Denley Stringfield have joined the Wealth Management division of Mechanics Bank, strengthening the 120-year-old institution's capabilities and presence in the region.

Named Senior Vice President and Senior Relationship Manager, Davis has delivered over 30 years of achievements in private banking, business banking and commercial banking, and in deposit services and real estate lending. Previously, he held local leadership roles for J.P. Morgan Chase Bank, First Republic Bank and Heritage Bank of Commerce. He holds a bachelor's degree in Psychology and a minor in Economics from San Jose State University. As well, he has completed advanced studies at the Stanford School of Business and Wharton School of Business.

Stringfield, also Senior Vice President and Senior Relationship Manager, brings more than 20 years of local experience in private banking, business banking and commercial banking. Prior to joining Mechanics Bank, he held leadership positions for J.P. Morgan Chase Bank, First Republic Bank, Scott Valley Bank and Heritage Bank of Commerce. Graduating summa cum laude from Menlo College, he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management.
