Yreka, California January 29, 2019 — The Fairchild Medical Center Foundation is pleased to announce that the foundation has received a $100,000 charitable donation from Mechanics Bank.
As part of their commitment to our local community, Mechanics Bank has given this generous donation to assist the foundation in their continued efforts to support the mission of Fairchild Medical Center. For more than 25 years, the FMC Foundation has worked to raise money for various purposes for the hospital and associated rural health clinics. “Since our founding more than 118 years ago, supporting and advocating for our local communities has been a key component of our mission and values.” Said John DeCero, President and CEO of Mechanics Bank.

The gift from Mechanics Bank will help to support the foundation’s special community events such as Healthy Kids Fair and Share the Magic as well as help to provide continuing education scholarships for Fairchild Medical Center team members. “Our FMC commitment to providing continued access to care is critical to the long-term health and well-being of our community.
