YREKA, CA – July 13, 2018 – Mechanics Bank (“Mechanics”) (OTCBB: MCHB) (formerly Scott Valley Bank) announced today that they will immediately donate $10,000 for relief and recovery efforts for those who have been impacted by the Klamathon Fire near Yreka, CA. In addition to the donation, Mechanics Bank has established a fund to accept donations from the community, and is encouraging community participation by offering to match the amount of any community contribution, up to an additional $10,000. All donations will be used to benefit those individuals, families and businesses suffering damage or displacement from the Klamathon Fire.
The Bank is partnering with the Sheriff Lopey Foundation of Siskiyou County to manage the distribution of the funds and ensure that they go directly to those in immediate need.

We know there’s an immediate need, and our hope is that this also gives others in the community a way to help as well”.
