THOMAS T. KAWAZOE JOINS MECHANICS BANK IN NAPA
Napa, CA, August 15, 2006—Thomas T. Kawazoe has joined Mechanics Bank as Vice President and Senior Private Banking Relationship Manager in the Napa Office. He will provide customers throughout the Napa/Solano market with customized private banking services and access to an array of wealth management services including financial planning and counsel, portfolio management, trust and estate services through the bank’s Wealth Management Group.
Mr. Kawazoe, 35, was most recently a vice president and private banker at Wells Fargo. Prior to that, he was a vice president with Card Commerce International, and he also spent several years with Bank of America in a variety of managerial positions. He is a NASD Registered Representative, Series 7 and 66, Accredited Asset Management Specialist, and holds a California Life and Health Insurance License.
A Cordelia Rotary Club member, Mr. Kawazoe is a past board member and co-chaired the organization’s major annual fund-raiser. He also is active in his church, Community Bible Church in Vallejo.
A graduate of UC Berkeley with a BA in Economics/Political Science, Mr. Kawazoe is an Executive MBA candidate at UC Davis where he served as a Student Council member and as a representative on the Alumni Board. He recently had the privilege of being the program’s 2006 student commencement speaker and has been highlighted in their marketing efforts, both in their program brochures and newspaper advertisements.
Mr. Kawazoe resides in Fairfield with his wife Bernadette and four children.
