Richmond, CA, April 8, 2008— Dena Kemp has joined Mechanics Bank as a relationship officer in the Napa Valley Corporate Lending group. She formerly was with Exchange Bank in Santa Rosa, California as a commercial loan officer.

A seasoned professional in the financial services industry, Kemp has more than 15 years in commercial and consumer lending, operations management and customer service. Prior to Exchange Bank, she held positions at WFS Financial, Inc., Fireside Thrift Company and Redwood Credit Union.

Kemp studied at Heald Business College in Santa Rosa, and earned her AA at Santa Rosa Junior College. She was a longtime resident of Santa Rosa, but recently moved to Benicia where she enjoys gardening and spending time with her family. She also has become active in the Napa Chamber of Commerce, and recently volunteered to serve on the committee that is organizing the upcoming Napa Valley Community Awards.
