She oversees a team of trust officers and administrators responsible for providing trust and estate services to the Bank’s Wealth Management clients in San Francisco and Marin.

“Our goal at Mechanics Bank is to be a trusted financial partner for our clients, and Claire simply exemplifies that role,” said Kirsten Weisser, Executive Vice President and head of Mechanics Bank Wealth Management Group. “She not only has an extraordinary base of trust and estate management experience, but has gone the extra mile to become conversant with virtually every aspect of trust and estate administration. She especially understands the kinds of issues that elderly clients can face and is committed to making sure their best interests are always represented.”

Immediately prior, she was a Trust Administrator with the Santa Clara County Office of the Public Guardian, where she was responsible for investigating elder financial abuse claims along with providing trust and estate services to dependent adults. Additional positions held by Ms. Mash include serving as a Contract Administrator for the Orange County Social Services Agency and a Legislative Policy Advisor and Press Secretary for a member of the San Diego County Board of Supervisors.

A graduate of San Jose State University with a BA in Business Administration and a minor in Economics, Ms. Mash received a law degree from Santa Clara University in 1991 and is an active member of the California State Bar Association and the Santa Clara County Estate Planning Council.
