Alfredo Pedroza Joins Mechanics BankNapa City Councilman to manage North Napa Office opening this spring

NAPA, CA, February 4, 2013 —Lifelong Napa resident Alfredo Pedroza has joined Mechanics Bank and will serve as Office Manager of the new North Napa Office when it opens in late spring. In the meantime, he will work out of Mechanics Bank’s Office at 433 Soscol Avenue, Napa.
Before joining Mechanics Bank, Mr. Pedroza was a branch manager with Redwood Credit Union in Sonoma where he managed two high performing offices. Prior to that he was a Redwood assistant branch manager in Napa. Mr. Pedroza began his banking career with Bank of America, where he received numerous awards, including Top Performer in the North Bay Region in 2008.
In November, 2012, Mr. Pedroza became the youngest person ever elected to the Napa City Council, and Napa’s first Latino Councilmember, with a term that expires in December 2016.
A high profile community advocate who serves as Commissioner of the Napa County Gang and Youth Violence Task Force, Mr. Pedroza also holds board or officer positions at Community Action Napa Valley, Napa County Hispanic Network, Sonoma State Advisory Campus Council, Queen of the Valley Latino Advisory Council, and Napa Valley Youth Center. He is a former board vice president of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce in Napa.

Mechanics Bank currently has two Napa Valley offices, including one in St. Helena. A third office, expected to open in late spring, is currently under construction at 3350 California Blvd. in Napa Crossings North.
Mr. Pedroza earned a B.A. in Business Administration at Sonoma State University with a minor in Economics. He and his wife, Brenda, another Napa native, plan to raise a family in Napa.
